Let me begin with an introduction!

My name is Lori. I am so glad you are here, and I am very much looking forward to becoming fast friends!

We may already be friends from YouTube, as I am the creator of the Home Made Simple channel there. If so, I am so glad you are here on myhomemadesimple.com as well. I am hoping that the content here on my website will perfectly coordinate with the content there on YouTube. Although my digital skills are not great, I am going to try to create a user friendly homemaker’s resource page here that will help you in your homemaking journey.

I have been a homemaker for over 20 years, and have enjoyed *almost* every moment of this wonderful life. I have four children, three of whom are still at home. My husband, Chris, and I have almost started over, as we have a 4 year old little boy who is best friends with his 20 & 18 year old sisters (be still my heart).

Being a wife and a mom is the most wonderful job anyone could have offered me, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to share this life with you, my online friends. I love to make meals that are healthy, frugal, and simple. I also enjoy being very involved in my own food-sourcing, including bread making, homemade and handmade foods, gardening, and, on a small scale, homesteading. We have a jersey milk cow (Winnie), several goats, and way too many chickens.

I hope to create a resource here that will help you coordinate healthy meals and plans for your family, as well as helping you take better care of yourself as a wife, mom, and homemaker. My desire is to create a community of friends that can be a support for one another, building one another up in love.
